Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Brow ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
License
Brow grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Brow's core features (launcher, clipboard, screenshots, window manager, focus timer, system monitor, and more) are free forever. AI-powered features (grammar fix, voice dictation, translation) require a Brow Pro subscription ($4.99/mo or $49/year).
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
Intellectual Property
Brow and all related intellectual property rights are owned by us. The App, its design, features, and functionality are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain all rights to data you create or store using the App, including notes, tasks, screenshots, and clipboard history. We do not claim any ownership of your content.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
AI Features
The App includes AI-powered features for grammar correction, text transformation, and voice dictation. These features are provided "as is" and may not always produce accurate results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using it.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App
- Any content or conduct of any third party
Refunds
Purchases are made through the Mac App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policy. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple Support.
Updates
We may update the App from time to time. Updates may include bug fixes, feature enhancements, or changes to functionality. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
